Flamboyant…
Last weekend I went to the beach on the western coast…. Surrounded with a fabulous fauna and flora scenery, it’s always a pleasure to drive along this magnificent coast ….
But this time the journey was more colorful…more lovely...more spectacular & enjoyable …
Like every December the Flamboyant trees grace nature with their annual presence…
True to their name…their fiery colors add a blazing touch to the Mauritian landscape… Like the vibrant summer of the island….the Flamboyant add the fierce aura and color to the surrounding adding an exotics and tropical touch
Carrier of beauty and of good news … the flowering of the Flamboyant flag the approaching Xmas and New Year… marking the beginning of a new chapter in life….
Full of symbolism the Flamboyant trees paint a magical atmosphere of gaiety, love and sharing of the festive season …
Invitation to welcome the New Year with joy and color as their fiery color….
The Ballad of Freedom
Hello World!!!
Swinging was and is still my favorite childhood game...I always wanted one day to swing across the ocean ...and imagine how it would be...
earl of azur ocean....soft waves dripping your feet as you swing across them...
wind in hairs...bumping you for another flight of freedom...
tilting your head back...and the splashing vision of the endless blue sky and fields of playful clouds playing with the sun ....
every swing ...bringing a moment of joy
a glimpse of the lost child in you....
a call for joy, freedom & thrill of living...
for another ballad of freedom....
Casela…A Taste of Africa in Mauritius
Featuring today on my blog will be about my visit to Casela Nature & Leisure Park… a place bringing a touch of Africa to Mauritius…
Crested on the beautiful western coast of the island near Cascavelle, Casela is lodged near the foot of Mountain du Rempart…
vision of exotic fauna & flora, the place is painted with the natural beauty of its surrounding… open invitation to discover the splendor of the panoramic view of Tamarin & Flic en Flac beach from the far horizon…
A horde of bougainvillea will be the welcoming hostess…their bright colors alluring the landscape…
with the crescendo music of the fountain water….
The song of the peacock will greet you as you enter their kingdom…where the animal cages will melt in the dense and greenery vegetation…
A discovery of different species of birds & animals …more colorful and amazing as you move forward….
What is really enchanting is to witness the arrogant move of the peacocks…moving freely around the park…so proud…roaming as if they were the king or queen of the park….their strident cries will echo the place…
Their favorite place is to nest at far top of the cages or on the top of the tall trees….
Leaving the arena of the birds…will be the restaurant with a 360 degree panoramic view of Tamarin & Flic en Flac & of the park…the summer breeze will carry the echoing shout of the fauna adding a magical touch to the scenery…
With the liberty to enter some reserve areas…animals such as zebras, ostriches, lions and deers can be approached at certain conditions…
Going beyond the cage…result into an incredible experience to come in the natural elements of those animals…
The Casela Nature & Leisure Park is a multipurpose park suiting to everyone taste and age with its multipurpose activities provided:-
Rando Fun
Mini safari
Trekking
Quad
a park where the fauna& flora reign over the environment…
p.s: My camera batteries were dead & could only take some few photos which have uploaded in the photo slide…the rest of the photos have been found on the web…..
Nostalgia....
These days am so tired....during these moments of fatigue...my mind would then voyage towards a nostalgic dream destination…
Left to the wonder of how life would have been if I was living in the times of my grand parents...
where they said that life was much simpler than this....
when there was joy of living simply ...being a happy person...
where we respect nature...we eat what we grow ... know values....respect of others
where we were warm not so cold and devoid of emotions like the machines we so like
where people look at each other with warmth...
I end on this video 'Ki Fer Nou Content Nou Pays ?' (why we love our country)....a taste of the Mauritius I so love…
Shadows…
Summer festive is in its splendor in Mauritius…the sky is crystal clear and so blue…most of the times cloudless with the peaky sunshine following your every steps …
With the colorful image the landscape presents, the unbearable heat and cocky sunrays are your daily companion…
There comes the time when you dream of a refreshing oasis
with its inviting shelter and shades…
I would then imagine how it would have been if whenever I put my foot, the setting would metamorphose in a world of natural protection….
There will be alleys roofed with flowers perfuming the air with their exotic and delicate fragrance…
Walking would then be an enchantment with luxuriant mass of trees ….the summer breeze echoing through the heavy leaves before landing on you…the flowers highlighting the grace and beauty of nature…and how colorful the world can be…
How I wish that my small island was still like that…trees scattered everywhere… like sentinel guarding us…adding a magical and exotic touch ….a return to nature….
Graduating...Avec Amour....
This post is dedicated to two special people in my life ……
Last Tuesday was my graduation day....Since I was informed about this event I was more skeptic than being happy....skeptic in the sense that being absent from my work is like having a bomb ready to explode with full of bad surprises...
But on the eve of the graduation day....when travelling back home a feeling of happiness & enthusiasm started to bloom inside me....
Joy as I was gonna make my parents proud...
Excitement as I was going to meet (after so many months) my two friends: Ariele & Caroline...
My graduation was not only about reward...but about lot of love (amour)...
love for the parents...to see their pride and joy...
love for friends...mine especially as till now never understand how two great persons have accepted someone like me ….
my two friends who had supported me for my four years at Uni..and still here for me ....
been so long that had a really good day...
I won’t ever forget you girls and always be grateful to you...and the moments we share especially under our special tree near the cafeteria it has witnessed our start of friendship and its growth...and all our little confidence...
Thanks you girls for being you and for making my graduation a day with amour...
Retrospective: after one year of blogging....
Hello World!!!!
My first blogging anniversary...who would have believe it....
Last year at this very moment I was over-stressed, lost and worried with my dissertation...and then I got the idea of starting a blog...
At first it was for purely academic purpose as my research was on blogging itself...then I was entwined in the blogging mania....
Everything started unsuspecting...I didn’t even think about my blog identity ...I came up with Hello World which is the main heart of the blog and the main opening of my post...World referring to Gaia (Earth)...
At first I used to blog about everything....
It was then that I crafted and molded a place for my thoughts...a world where I can be myself and share the visions of how I see life ....
Things which I saw that sometimes are so difficult to say or explain in reality....today I have also found a shelter in my blog where I find a voice which echo part of myself through my writings....
Happy Blogging Anniversary to all those bloggers who happen to celebrate theirs too.......
I also thank all people who happen to drop by my blog especially my dear friends who leave daily messages on my shout box and who take the time to comment on my blog...
A big thank to you all... Really appreciate it..........
